My name is Lorna Evans, I was born in 1971, I have two children and run a business with my husband. I am telling you about me first as I believe that excellent Coaches are those that have experienced life. It’s always good to know that the person guiding you has some idea of life & the situations that you might have been through. We all experience life & events in a different way so I might not know exactly how you feel but can certainly empathise & enable you to find the solutions that best suit you.

My Life briefly:

Childhood
Single parenthood
Family life with a man who was fine until he had a drink
Mum’s Divorce
Family life with an amazing man who already had 3 children (much older than me) & who after marrying my mum adopted me & gave me 2 younger brothers

Late Teenage & Twenties
Left home at 19 to move in with partner.
Started Open University Degree & Suffered a bereavement at 21.
Nervous breakdown at 22, working in a stressful full time job in London, part time in Watford & living in Watford as well as trying to deal with grief & unsympathetic employers had a good deal to do with this!
New Job locally in great company.
Relationship break up at 25.
Bought first flat.
Promotion via moving companies!
Met new partner, made Redundant, bought house together, started a business, had a baby boy, got married.
Within 3 weeks of 30th birthday (& all in the space of a week), tore ligaments so badly in leg I was in plaster & on crutches (Monday afternoon), Dad died (Tuesday morning) & I miscarried our baby (Friday – Sunday).
Closed first business as I needed time to come to terms with the above.

Thirties
Discovered I had a long term health issue.
Had a daughter.
Started our second business (February 2004)
